I'm a singer/songwriter residing in S.E. Wisconsin. I'm the lead singer of the David Marshall Band (Rockin' Country Music.) I was born in Wisconsin, but lived in Michigan, Illinois and Nevada. My father (Jim) was a horse trainer and taught my brother (Dan) & I the profession. I trained and managed a ranch in Michigan with my brother about 4 years immediately out of high school. I then had an opportunity to join the Teamsters Union, and took a truck driving job in Chicagoland. Wanting to be closer to my family, I switched to a heavy equipment hauler position at a local construction company in Elkhorn, WI. While there I was offered the opportunity to haul heavy equipment in Las Vegas, where I traveled the Western states and Canada. After that great experience, I came back to WI. and once again drive for the same local company. I married Kristina in 2002, who is my inspiration to sing. With her encouragement, I entered and won several singing contests including the Walworth County Fair Country Idol Contest. I won and had the thrill of opening for Keith Urban! By the request of friends, I started my own band. Kris and the David Marshall Band are my passions and take all my free time. I wouldn't have it any other way! The guys in the band are the best musicians and characters. I couldn't ask for better people to work with.
